GPA fabricated, assembled and tested a prototype Mobile Bilge and Oily Wastewater Treatment System (MBOWTS) for NFESC, Port Hueneme.

The MBOWTS is QUADRASEP system for treating wastewater that consists of suspended solids, free oil, emulsified oil, and heavy metals. The System was developed and prototyped to address the need for submarines to handle bilge water while in port. Submarines do not have bilge water storage capabilities and therefore need a dedicated barge to handle bilge water while in port.
