A few years ago, NSWC PHD was one of the initial commands that used the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) program. There became a need for on-going support of requirements outside of the cognizance of NMCI. For the past two years, GPA has provided on-going support of the Air Dominance Departments legacy computer requirements. This support consists of analyzing existing IT and IS databases, IT applications and recommending new or improved interfaces or tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency. We perform maintenance and technical support of the LANs and provide desktop support for the systems not part of the NMCI program. Basically, all areas not covered by NMCI are covered by GPA personnel.
