GPA performs systems level engineering and logistics support on site (NAS/MCAS) for NAVAIRSYSCOM Program Managers and Naval Aviation Type Commanders for airborne conventional weapons systems and support equipment.

Specifically, logistic support process reviews and recommendations for the installation, modification, operation, and maintenance of systems are provided. Training is provided shipboard for Naval Surface Type Commanders in the storage and handling of aviation ordnance. GPA Team member, Santa Barbara Applied Research, Inc. (SBAR)s support in this area consists of developing interim supply support plans for weapon systems. Information from the support plan is also included in the system ULSS.
